Hi, I am Christine Williams, owner of Gone Bananas Travel Co. and I love all things travel!

I was born and raised in Southern California, about thirty minutes from Disneyland. We had annual passes, so it might as well have been our neighborhood playground. Because of my parents’ background, many of my extended family lived outside of the United States. I spent many summers with my grandparents in Germany and Mexico and traveled extensively with my family from a young age. I took my first cruise at the age of 19 as a high school graduation trip, and since then have cruised various lines all over Mexico, West Indies, Europe, and... if its a port in the carribbean, chances are I've been there at least once! 

Married in 2007, we honeymooned in Cancun and planned our first Disneyland vacation when our first daughter was only two years old. We went again before our second daughter’s birth. My sister’s move to Australia have lead us to explore Queensland, Melbourne, Sydney and Geelong. Our stateside travels have included multiple trips to Hawaii (Maui, Kauai and Oahu), the occasional big city trips to New York City and Chicago, and our nations beautiful natural parks like Yosemite and the Grand Canyon.

Over the past three years, I’ve found myself returning to Europe time and again, exploring new cities each visit. My love for the Europe is fueled by its rich tapestry of food, culture, and history, and I’ve discovered that traveling there can often be more affordable than in the U.S. Each trip deepens my appreciation for Europe’s diverse offerings and enhances my ability to recommend the best experiences to my clients.

Disney World and Disney cruises has become our new family-favorite vacation. Shorly after the pandemic in 2020, we spent a total of 15 days in the park. However, in my earliest attempts to plan Disney World travel, before becoming an agent, I found it too overwhelming to navigate the details. Expressing my frustration to a friend, she told me, “For Disney World, you NEED a travel agent.” Consider all the resort options (26), dining plans (5), parks (6), and magic bands… not to mention the 5 transportation options, etc.! YES, your total vacation experience is enhanced by using a travel agent. Let me help you have that perfect vacation!

I’m a Type-A planner and have always wanted to plan every step of our trips from where to eat, what to see, making reservations and … well, come to find out… not everyone does that! Believe it or not, some people just like to show up and play it by ear. So, whatever you need for your perfect vacation, let me help.
